and of elf maids in lace
all his life he smiled at the thought of being on the outside
all by himself

he’s counting all the gold and jewels he’s pilfered from those
glittering caverns and caves
shout into the void abyss that nogrod calls a conscious
for an echo we’ll wait…
“all my lifе” he said, “i’ve worn dishonor on my head”

“so what if i’m wasted all the time if the dungeons shudder when they hear the name… nogrod”

he’s gone
fills the skulls of his slain enemies with dwarven mead
and when he drinks, when he drinks, he’s gone
