i went to the race track and i won 3 hundred dollars on a horse
who was actually a giant red wasp
i spoke to the wasp after the race, after all the spectators had left
and i saw that she was crying

i dried the tears that fell from her eyes with a wool blanket
and i asked her why she was so sad
