this is why i love music so much, everything about it just interests me so much. i’ve had a lot of other things that i’ve been passionate but nothing even comes close to music; and knowing that you’ve created something that no one else has, it’s pretty f-cking cool man. people can take your style, you know, they can form their own style around it, they can be inspired, they can outright copy you; just knowing at the end of the day that you have your own thing going and that people respect and love you for what you’re doing is so f-cking amazing. the fact that you can strive to make what you want to hear and the final product isn’t always perfect but every time i sit down and create something, i’m getting closer and closer to making what i want to make.
