staring down the barrel of a shotgun…
at the trial they said the k!ller’s finger slipped upon the trigger
that the murder was an accidental one
that a trained police k!ller made a simple little error
and that david gundy died upon his gun
well now a circus is a circus
and the clowns are still at large
and the k!lling can be practiced by the law
but if bloodshed begets bloodshed
then i wouldn’t want to be
