what makes the group is the people in it
the people are its true heart and soul
it’s no losing battle we can win it
regardless of being under state control
we’re here for the people in it
they’re really in need of this support
so how could we just abort?
is this what all this has taught us?

many services, you’ll find, now go private
all a result of the financial climate
all or most will remain the same
overall it’s only an organisational change
they are depending on us
they have lent us their trust
we owe it to them
to show it to them
to keep it going for them
it’s by no means the end only a new era. this should become clearer

the reason we’re here is the people in it
the people are what makes it whole
challenges may underpin it
regardless of who takes on the lead role

the group provides a very key service
so how can it be said it has served its purpose?
we owe it to them they deserve this
all we need is a clear vision
establish what to deliver with this provision
maybe draw up a development plan
so we can work towards it, know where we stand
we should keep them informed, they should be forewarned, of anything in store, and what’s more
of changes to be, right from the start they should be at the heart

the group exists for the people in it
supporting them should know no limit
we owe it to support
them we must never abort them
they should take priority on any agenda
of any interest they should be at the centre
