d: hi, this is david mccormack. um, i was in custard for the entirety of its career

a: well done. uh, this is andrew lancaster, uhh, i did uh, majority of these film clips you might be looking at

d: and now here we are, straight into pack yr suitcases, which is the first video you did with us, is that correct?

a: yes. this is actually the end of it when we were shooting at clovelly bowling club

a: i have a recollection of… the night before the clip, actually having to show… you… how to fit into a harness. and um, i think uh you put it on for about, uh 3 minutes? and it was barely comfortable but by the end of it-

d: -awh yeah, i had blisters

a: you were very sore, yeah. we made a bit of a scaffolding behind you. and all i just remember is you like calling out for the ladder after every take. so, and i think in the rushes there’s like people running out to the ladder and you just holding… your crotch-

d: -it was incredibly painful though. like- you look at that- that, it looks quite well supported, but it wasn’t ‘cause it just targeted one area

a: generally, i think the average parachute in kinda for would be y’know a couple minutes but we-

d: -we had our two, yeah

a: yeah. it’s been a whole day, innit, um?

a: yeah, and i remember, see the little um-

d: -this is down at, um, rushcutters bay
a: yeah, rushcutters bay bowl, which is actually no longer there. it’s been uhh demolished and now there’s the-

d: -that hotel-

a: -the vibe hotel or-

d: -yeah, the hotel-

a: -yeah, it’s a really bad hotel

d: it’s terrible

a: but um, i don’t know if you remember, there was a uh, a mannequin… legs-

d: -yeah, a mannequin leg, yeah

a: and, i always remember, um during the shoot, um someone had actually… dropped them or- no we had- we had them actually on uh, little bits of-

d: -fishing wire, weren’t they?

a: and um, it almost fell on someone so, they weren’t happy

d: (laughter) these are good keyboards-

a: -that’s actually-
d: -i always liked that keyboard bit-

a: -that’s actually my fingers on that keyboard ‘cause didn’t you guys have to go to a gig and i did the-

d: -look you picked it- why did you pick the one where i missed the- th- the bowls there?
