as they survey
their nearest surroundings
see a motorhome perched by a pit
preserved in jelly

(caitlyn-1 speaks:)

“we’ll take this carriage cos we is the trinity
right you two get in confiscate all that you see”

(narrator speaks:)

there’s a family portrait
the group discard it
here is too much gelatine
its setting off her’s allergies
and the salt lamp is sweating
but does not have no batteries oh
find a rotted plastic bag to fill it up with cans of meat and
on the tv table is a walkie talk of much intrigue oh!
there’s a voice just like them
calling through the static
always one to take charge
cait-1 turns the kn-b dial
as if automatic
now it’s sounding clearer

voice claims she’s the one truest mate

(the one true mate speaks:)

“i don’t have much time to tell you
i need you to save me from my stasis tomb
and scr-pe me back to body
i deserve to live
answer my plea!”

(tri-caitlyns speak:)

“ok lady well we have nothing else to do
we will save you then we will be paid what we due!”

all the envelopes and tins slide off the table
caitlyn-3 observes outside that tube legged prison cube approaching
suckers try to clasp footing uneven ground is going to crumble!
all of them leap out the door with bags in hand and radio slipping
hand gives way and drops it all into big crater now a bowl of home

off they set again tread down the road that’s paved with glowy sparkle stars
but i’m sure he’s furious they did not find the note he left for them
