i was sitting on my couch the other day
and i was feeling kinda hungry so i had to have my way
i walked down tha street
2 blocks away
and sure enough, there it was
the milk bar

the milk bar [x12]

i crossed the street
went inside and greeted the cashier
i said “hey how ya goin”
she said “yeah good, yourself?”
and i said “yeah im going good thanks”

i looked around and found exactly what i needed
a packet of crisps and a carton of milk
standing at opposite ends of the store

i walked up to the counter
put my items on the counter
she said “that’ll be $4.50”
so i reached into my pocket
so i could grab my wallet
i found 10 bucks
handеd it to her and she gave mе a
5 dollar note, a 50 cent coin and said
“here’s your change”

i put the cash in my wallet
put it back into my pocket
and left the store

i walked up the street again
to get back to my house yeah
and i sat on the couch
turned on the tv
and opened my bag of crisps

i woke up the next day
and had a bowl of cereal for breakfast
