that ain’t it though, they justify k!lling black men for whistling at white women, but then go, s-xually harass black women under the belief that they all naturally nymphos all because of her skin tone. so am i wrong for feeling like, f-ck them stars and stripes? cus all it ever gave my people was bars and pipes and aids and guns? so how can i pledge to the flag my life? when under the flag the united states federal government denied my grandmother her rights. so i feel like i’m right when i’m like, f-ck the liberty bell, forged by bruised, battered and burned slave hands, or these jails, that are like time machines, because when a n-gga doing time, they just turn them into a slave again. so we master the pen, thankful nat turner gave us the script and channel our rage into this.
