just got back from the rotten apple
traffic tickets cost me about a grand so
i don’t plan to drive whenever travel
through ny, my memories of brooklyn are bittersweet
we were sent with seeds to help plant an epiphany

felt like the place was meant to be
home forever but then we’d leave

believing something better is coming till then we dream
