he says there was a time that he used to know rest

he says he went to find it and to return with some proof

is going to propel me down a road i’ll have to grasp

but i must bear the outcome of whatever it entails

i ventured outside into the day

while outside the window a delivery is made

like they were teaching me
just then, a light lit up the sp-ce
as my thoughts made them be

i heard a wind whisper that i had a clue found
i opened up my eyes and i saw the bridge across
i sensed this was the meaning of the answer i had lost
i crossed into the tunnel that appeared around me
and i heard the voices past as they began to speak
the pictures on the wall began to really explain
just what i was doing there and why i must remain
i turned around just then as i realized the trap
the wall just turned around and it began to laugh
the sounds fade away as i become the wall
i try to tell my secret but they cannot hear my call

why didn’t you tell me what i didn’t know?
wall! take back your answers!
i don’t want them anymore
