i think we’re losing, when this is all we know and life succombs to apathy. we’re caught in constant sleep because it feels so safe. but i can’t be still when life’s in technicolor and stereo. you live in black and white and i can’t live like that. like an evergreen in a field of change you’re trapped. like a wounded bird who spreads his wings, you can’t fly away. you’re so content it kills me.
